Fresh water!

Leviticus 14:50
"He shall kill one of the birds over fresh water in a clay pot."

Back in the farm where I grow up, we always had our drinking water from the clay pot. There is something refreshing about the clay pots ....

Few years ago, I start looking for clay pots online and as a matter of a fact , I found this one on Amazon.com, but the neat thing is , I was searching for this type of pots because I like how the water tastes- in which by the way, is very different from any other water. I then found an interesting article about the water kept in a clay pot and how that affect our metabolism. I am not sure if is true but through out the bible , there are many references as the water was kept on clay pots.... not with filters like the one I have but still clay pot like that.

Well, the article ( I did not keep the link and it has been a while ...sorry) explained the importance of the temperature of the water to be right in order for our metabolism to work well. This article was about weight loss , not religious, but very interested to me.

It is a lovely raining day and I just got back from the pottery shop . I so enjoy days such is this, praise be to God for all things!*grin*

As I sipped my delicious water , I thought to share these thoughts.....

Oh Tita....you are so right about the taste! I remember drinking water as a child from clay pots that my father had bought in Mexico..the water says chilled and there is a certain taste! How was you pottery session today dearest one? I loved the rain today; we kept busy in the classroom, and coming home, it was a delight to see my garden SO GREEN with all this gentle rain hitting. I wish you another wonderful day of creativity my sweet! I hope all is well...Nita

I have never drunk water from a clay pot and now I am curious. Because we have a sulfur well,(YUUCK!), we must buy bottled water for drinking. perhaps I will pour some of IT into a clay pot, I just need to find one!
