We have tree pastures in our farm , a total of 20 acres. Mark reduced one of the pastures , only by tree acres where he and I have planted 11 pear trees, 11 apples trees. We are planning to add this coming fall , 11 cherries trees, and 11 peaches and that will complete our small orchard .
Well, mean while , he planted all this sunflowers... isn't it wonderful?
I was out of town for almost a week . I got home feeling very sick. I have been sick for while and instead of getting better , I got worse. The hotel I was staying must had some kind of mold because I had such a hard time breathing.I got home and start to feel better..... oh , how I missed my family and my farm!*grin*
Gabriela, my daughter , made an amazing supper tonight ... roasted herb chicken, homemade mashed potatoes, corn on the cob, fruit salad.... yum!

After that, Mark called me to go for a walk.... little did I know about the sunflowers..... smiles.... I have learned to take my camera every time I go for walks close to evening time because I never know if Silvano, the fox, will surprise me!*grin*

Patricia dear-it is so nice to see you again! I am so sad that you were feeling sick; have you been to the doctor? I know that you had a sinus infection. Yes, I have been at the doctors and even finished my antibiotics, but I have a feeling that the hotel and all the antique stuff made me have trouble breathing. I am 100% better and enjoying been home with my family.... nothing can compare to that!*grin*

No, my masters will be in education, although I wish I could have done it in French. I will not get a pay raise if my masters isn't in education! My thesis is centered around assessment, particularly "Performance Assessment" which is a very interesting and useful topic for my line of work. Since I teach in an immersion school, alternative approaches to assessment are vital in measuring what a student really knows and goes beyond the language component which is often distorted by the students' second language limitations. Yes, I have very dark hair-very Mexican. My family has a lot of red hair, however! We come in all shapes and colors! :) I am relieved to hear that your cough is better. WOrking with children during the school year puts me at risk of upper respiratory infections and I have had my share of those in the last 5 years. Last year however, I was lucky to not contract that horrid cough that lasts for literally 3 months. Que tu retrouve ta santé! Bisous, Anita
