Flying in the sky.....

I was up very early this morning as next week we start school and my time/schedule will change. One of my favorite things to do is to tend for my flowers ... I love to be outside and hear the nature singing.
I was *lost* on my own world when I heard a massive bird's call .... I looked up to the bright blue sky to see many, many geese flying in a *v* shape .... so coordinated .... I smile and told Josh , who was working outside with me , "How marvelous, isn't it? I wish they stay and visit with us"..... and then to my delight ....they landed on the pond... not one ... not few ... but all of them!

Rebecca brought me the camera and with my dirty hands , I managed to take few pictures.

It is evening now and outside is so tranquil..... I hear the birds ... they are still here..although think they are Canadian and are just passing by , I still hope they will greet me in the morning!*grin*

Bonsoir ma chèrie!

I went to visit you at PD but I was not able to leave a comment! The loading wheel just kept on spinning! But let me just say that your pottery is brilliant my dearest; I love the blue paint and gold accent, just marvelous. You worked so hard and it shows. Please count me in for the drawing! And your geese look awesome! These fun birds are also in our midst. I remember one year, I almost got bitten by one on the "backside" by a very sneaky and quite goose...my husband warned me just in time! Then there was the time that there was a huge gaggle of geese in the road and they wouldn't move! I honked my horn at them to scare them off so I could pass and they just honked back with their magnificent wings expanded in the air as to say to me, "I'm walking here..."!! I love nature; sometimes it is so comic it makes my day as I am sure this wonderful display of God's creatures manifested itself to you today! Big hugs to you dear artist and friend, Anita

I enjoyed looking through the pictures of your farm, and reading your stories. I am a city girl, but when I met my partner we knew we would both like to move to our very own bit of land one day. It is still far away I think, but seeing your photos was lovely, I like to imagine myself like you when we get there... making beautiful art and maybe.. one day.. trying my hand at making a porcelain bjd :-P

So nice of you to visit me here at my farm...grin...thank you dear!*grin*
Ohh yes! I come from very humble start and absolutely LOVE farm life. I have been blessed to have travelled to many parts of this world and have lived in Large cities ( Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Miami,Fl) but nothing like this...nothing like my farm... I *love* simple things although my art can get *very* complicated, smiles!
I appreciate your interest and your visit . I adimire your work as well... the soft tones of your aquarella are so soothing and enjoyable... perhaps one day you will be inclined to paint one of my girls, yes? Warm hugs to you!Pat

Big hugs ~monika

Bonjour ma chèrie! Oh Patricia, I was out all day with Ruben as well and was not able to get to my comments until now, 4:15am Sunday! Ruben and I are just having so much fun, enjoying the crisp air by the water. Do you know that the trees are now turning colors!!!! We had just been talking on Friday, remember, about the time of year when it starts getting cozy and cool! I will always think of you now as the wind starts to kick up and I need a blank to cover myself. I am going to make baked apple with a lot of cinnamon and vanilla and take in the new season! Thank you mille fois for attending my play. Oh how I love to create silly stories and weave in French. I am having so much fun. Take care, and I can't wait to see more of your pottery; I need to look to see if you have posted anything new. God bless, Anita
