Fairytale Pottery

Okay, It is finally here!!! I will confess to you that I have been *dreaming* to get these done but like anything else for the first time....LOTS of errors until I was able to get it right!

I never thought that apply a decal to a surface would be so hard. My first pieces were no good because I had air bubbles trapped even though I could not see them. It was frustrating to see perfect teapots with the decal missing here and there.

Good news is that these are some of my best results. The first picture shows my favorite set. It is a "Tea for One" ... grin... just the perfect special piece for a quite tea time.

As you can see , they are listed at my etsy store.

I have few other pieces ready and when I have a chance I will list them there.
Thank you for your visit and of course, your comment *ALWAYS* makes me smile!

oh wow Pat! how teriffic these are! I LOVE the tea for one too! Perfect idea, and your beautiful illustrations! I hope you are so very proud of these! They are fabulous! Now this might sound cheesy..but I remember about three years ago, around Christmas time, I sent a message to you about one of your little dolls you had listed on ebay. I think it was the first time I had ever sent a message to you in fact. Anyway, I distictly remember thinking that someday I would love to be able to create something that brings so much joy just by looking at it, as your sculpts did me...now here we are, actually friends, and everything you create still brings that very warm feeling of home to my heart.

By the way, how is sweet miss Kate doing? I hope she is well, and is loving her first semester away, and that you are not so worried that you can't sleep at night. I know how it feels to have the children leave home, and how we worry, but God will watch over your sweet Kate, Pat.xoxoLove Christel

You know, finding you 20 months ago was like finding a 20 carat diamond on the ground. A rare occurance, a once in a lifetime chance, and every time you look into its facets, you are enchanted with the dance of light. Again, you amaze me Tita, with not only your talents, but the PERSEVERANCE you apply to each piece until you reach your satisfaction. We should all be so meticulous in our lives. BRAVO MA BELLE...Nita

I love these Patricia. I lost all the information you sent me about the decals when my computer crashed!
But these are just charming, the foxy little fellow has won my heart.
